FAQ's
Q. How many cookies should I bring?
A. Just one batch of your favorite cookie. A typical batch of cookies is 3 - 5 dozen.
Q. How many cookies can I bring home?
A. That depends on you. If everyone brings one batch, then we can count on everyone taking home upwards to a batch of cookies.
Q. Can I still reserve after the deadliine?
A. Yes. The deadline is so we can give the River Grille an approximate number and be sure we don't exceed the capacity.
Q. How are the cookies served?
A. The cookies are displayed on a long table and we provide tongs and disposable gloves for use when picking out your cookies.
Q. How should I bring my cookies for display?
A. Most people bring them on trays or platters. We suggest using disposable if you are worried about forgetting to take your tableware home. We do have some extra trays and platters for those who need to bring their cookies in containers.
Q. What happens to the cookies that are left over?
A. Last year's leftovers went to make platters for the staff that helps maintain and run our village. If you have a suggestion, we'd love to hear it.
Q. What if you have dietary restrictions?
A. We are trying to enourage any people who have recipes for sugar-free, or gluten-free to bring those along and label them as such so everyone can find something to enjoy. We will also be asking if cookies have nuts in them so we can approprietly label them.
Q. Will there be seating available?
A. Yes. There will be tables and chairs set up.
